A little about Summer...Summer Sebastiani was raised in North West Sonoma County on her family’s ranch in Western Sonoma County. Where she grew up learning to grow their own vegetables and raise their own Pork Beef and poultry. Growing her roots to learn about food at an early age Being from a old Italian family who often hunted wild pig ,deer, doves and wild ducks taught her all about the different types of styles in food. Summer can still remember experimenting in her mother’s kitchen and making her little sister taste everything
When Summer was old enough, she worked in the kitchen at the local YMCA Camp. This was her first experience working in a commercial kitchen and her jobs were dishwashing and prep cook. She worked there every summer for 6 years. After High school she knew that culinary arts was in her blood. she decided to enroll at California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. At CCA she took the two-year AOS program. Summer did her externship at Apple Wood in Guerneville gaining more confidence in the kitchen. She graduated from CCA in January 2000. Looking for more experience and an opportunity to use her talents she took a job at Brannan’s Grill in Calistoga as an Assistant Pastry Chef. After the Chef moved on, she took over the job of Pastry Chef and Kitchen Manager and stayed there for three years. Wanting to expand her skills and talents, she accepted the position of Pastry Chef at All Seasons Bistro and Catering in Calistoga. After 11 years working at All Seasons Bistro and Catering she has worked her way up the ranks and now is now the executive Chef and is in charge of the Catering department, In 2009 Summer Competed with 20 chefs in the Napa Valley at the Mustard Festival and won Chef of the year critics choice.
